Get a Head Start on ICE/CBP Preparations
A lot of people from the Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland communities provided some excellent advice to the Charlotte community about things to do to prepare for ICE/CBP operations in the city and surrounding areas. As ICE/CBP seemingly prepares to come to New Orleans and/or other communities in the coming weeks, I wanted to relay a few key preparation points here. I’ll be updating this page with resources specific to New Orleans and surrounding areas in the following days as that information becomes available.
Report ICE Activity
If you witness ICE operations, please report it!
Report the incident on the IceOut map.
We also recommend signing up for ICE activity alerts via IceOut for the most up-to-date activity reports and alerts in your area.
Want to Get Involved?
Start printing Know Your Rights cards & Stay Loud, Form a Crowd cards. Order or 3D print whistles and prepare whistle packets (whistle + Stay Loud, Form a Crowd card) to hand out to community members.
